A Buyer is responsible for the procurement process within an organization, which includes placing orders, negotiating with suppliers and contractors, and generating relevant price quotes and reports. The role requires managing relationships with existing suppliers, identifying new suppliers, monitoring the supply process, and negotiating prices and delivery terms. The Buyer also tracks the procurement budget and ensures compliance with the organization’s requirements while optimizing costs.
