A spokesperson is a person entrusted with representing an organization or public figure to the media. They convey the messages of the organization or the represented person to the media, and they are the address for questions and inquiries from journalists. The spokesperson is involved in the activities of the body they represent, while also being familiar with the work of journalism, knowing how to meet its requirements and serve it quickly and efficiently. Government offices and large organizations employ spokespersons, who centralize the connection with the media. The PR person engages in initiating diverse activities, not necessarily media-related (although a significant part is media-related), while the spokesperson focuses on working with the media.
