A Sales Manager is responsible for managing the organization's sales activities and developing effective sales strategies to increase sales volume. A Sales Manager develops sales programs, sets monthly and annual sales targets, and monitors team performance. He/she supervises sales processes, documents performance reports, and provides reports to senior managers. The manager is required to possess high managerial skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet established goals and objectives.
