Pactical mechanical engineers are needed for various different roles in the modern industrial world. Chip development, chip processoing, CNC planning and operation; all requiring expertise in planning and computerized drafting. Graduates can often be promoted to more prominent managerial positions, however larger corporations may require a mechanical engineering degree, smaller companies on the other hand usually don't require it.
