Chief information security officer
A Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing the organization's information security policy. The position includes performing risk assessments, drafting regulations and security procedures, ensuring their implementation in the field, and ensuring compliance with these regulations and strict industry standards. During actual cyber attacks, CISO Officers lead the defense efforts of information security personnel and are the spearhead of the organization in combating cyber attacks and loss of information assets. As such, they also form a link between the organization, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities in various issues related to information security.
